FBRF and WIFU Foundation collaborate to share family business research and guidance

The Family Business Research Foundation (FBRF) is pleased to announce a new collaboration with the WIFU Foundation, making a selection of their research studies and practical guides available through the FBRF website.

The WIFU Foundation promotes research, teaching, and knowledge transfer in the field of family entrepreneurship. A key beneficiary of its funding is the Witten Institute for Family Business (WIFU) at Witten/Herdecke University, one of Europe's leading centres for family business research. While the WIFU Foundation's work is primarily focused on German family businesses, much of its research addresses themes that are equally relevant to family firms operating in the UK, including succession, ownership, next generation development and sustainability.

This collaboration reflects FBRF's commitment to improving knowledge and understanding of family firms by drawing on the best available evidence, wherever it originates. The publications now available through FBRF cover both research and practical guidance, and include studies on ownership competence, sustainability, next generation preparation, succession, digitalisation and more.
